Victoria Burge (born 1976, New York) holds a degree in Horticulture from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MFA in Book Arts and Printmaking from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Her prints and drawings reimagine systems of mapping and the patterns they generate as abstracted topographies. New projects, such as her triptych Light Study, map the fleeting effects of light on water.

Recent exhibitions in which Burge’s work has been shown include Victoria Burge|Naho Taruishi, Planthouse Gallery, New York (2017); and Penumbra, a solo exhibition at the Print Center, Philadelphia (2016). Burge’s prints are in the permanent collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the New York Public Library, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the British Museum, and the Hunterian Museum, Glasgow. She is a recipient of a 2017–18 Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant.
